Hello
I have a grid view that contains a couple of item template columns. On page load I bind it to a DataTable in order to add an empty row. Then I use a bootstrap modal to ask user fill some fields that will be added to the grid. Whenever user fill all fields and click add, I use the following JavaScript code to clone first empty row add values of filled fields to it.
var grd = document.getElementById('grdInvoice');
var tbody = grd.rows[0].parentNode;
var row = grd.rows[grd.rows.length - 1];
row = row.cloneNode(true);
Till here everything is working smoothly.
The problem is when save this GridView to database, the for loop reads only first row that was created on page load, all cloned rows aren't seen when click save button and grid row count always return 1.
Does server side code (VB.net OR C#) can't reach elements created by a client side (JavaScript) code? or is there a missing part in clone function?
Thanks in advance.
