I want to secure my WCF services from unauthorized access. I am using ASP MVC as a front end to access my WCF services. Can I encrypt my services URL in JS file? And how I maintain the state management. I am calling my services directly through AJAX call and I am avoiding Model and Controller (using only for redirections from menu). What is the best approach to create SOA?Arch

Hi,

As you need to prevent you service from unauthorized access so you can simply build authorization in you service like you can make your service must take license key and that must be crossed checked on service side.and you can encrypt and decrypt url as per your requirement using below links

Refer:

  1. Encrypt Password in JavaScript and Decrypt it in ASP.Net C#
  2. Encrypt value of ID in URL in ASP.Net

As all we know best approach to create Service oriented application is to make Service with IntextContextMode to PerCall and also binding must not be basicHttpBinding.

I hope this will help you out.
