Hi Mudassar,

I have tried the demo and the code example and it did not work. I was reading that some of the Twitter request uri's have changed and that some are not in use anymore, not sure what that means.

When I run the code it authenticates but when I post I get a 404 error on the Tweet_Click on this line - twitter.Tweet(txtTweet.Text)

On the demo it does not do anything when the button is pressed, the page only refreshes.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Kind regards, Carlo

Hi Andrea,

Thank you very much for the reply. That is the exact demo and source example I was reffering too. The demo does not post to Twitter and when I execute the source example it authenticates but when I post it gives me 404 not found request back.

My guess is that the request uri in the dll might not be used on Twitter anymore and might need to be updated, not sure how to troubleshoot this one.

On the forums at Twitter they say I am likely using an endpoint which has been turned off.

If someone could perhaps confirm this demo and source example is working I would appreciate.

Thanks,
Carlo

1. The demo does not return any error

2. Have you provided proper API Key and Secrets.

Still I'll try from code tomorrow to see if such thing has happened and wil update the DLL

I have tried the demo to confirm but it does not post on Twitter nor giving an error.

Yes, I have supplied proper API Key and Secrets, it authenticates 100% but does not want to post to Twitter.

Thanks you very much for your reply.

Hi @Mudassar,

Did the test from code work correctly? I re-checked everything but no luck. The Facebook posting works 100%! Only the Twitter one I can't get to work.
