I wanted to update the database using EF migrations.

I have a model class:

namespace Movies_Management_System.Models
{
    public class Movie
    {
        public int ID { get; set; }

        [StringLength(60, MinimumLength = 3)]
        public string Title { get; set; }
        public DateTime ReleaseDate { get; set; }

        [RegularExpression(@"^[A-Z]+[a-zA-Z'\s]*$")]
        [Required]
        [StringLength(30)]
        public string Genre { get; set; }

        [Range(1, 100)]
        [DataType(DataType.Currency)]
        public decimal Price { get; set; }
        public string Rating { get; set; }
    }

    public class MovieDBContext : DbContext
    {
        public DbSet<Movie> Movies { get; set; }
    }

}

I have added Rating(extra field) in the class.

i referred this link to update the database but its not working for me.

Can anyone enlighten me on this?

Controller Class:

namespace Movies_Management_System.Controllers
{
    public class MoviesController : Controller
    {
        private ApplicationDbContext db = new ApplicationDbContext();

        public ActionResult Index(string movieGenre, string searchString)
        {
            var GenreLst = new List<string>();

            var GenreQry = from d in db.Movies
                           orderby d.Genre
                           select d.Genre;

            GenreLst.AddRange(GenreQry.Distinct());
            ViewBag.movieGenre = new SelectList(GenreLst);

            var movies = from m in db.Movies
                         select m;

            if (!String.IsNullOrEmpty(searchString))
            {
                movies = movies.Where(s => s.Title.Contains(searchString));
            }

            if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(movieGenre))
            {
                movies = movies.Where(x => x.Genre == movieGenre);
            }

            return View(movies);
        }

        public ActionResult Details(int? id)

                return HttpNotFound();
            }
            return View(movie);
        }
        public ActionResult Create()
