i need a step by step lines for the project implementation on client machine which is to be made as a web server.
i have followed some steps for the deployment but i get lots of different errors & issues on different systems so not sure

and is there any best way other than this & is he below order correct

1) Install IIS on client server is not avaliable
2) INstall dotnet framework 3.5
3) Install Sql server with reporting services

---- making the project folder--------

1) Publish the applicatiion from VS2008
2) copy the published application to the client system
3) create a virtual directory in IIS & map the published folder
4) convert the virtual directory to application

the abov are the steps foloowed  but i get lots of different errors in the systems i tried

are the above steps right or is there any other way
