Thank you for publishing the only example on the web of using Mondoor’s MSCaptcha control from VB. I have just one minor problem using your technique.
I have a validationsummary control on the same page with MSCaptcha. When the user text doesn’t match, you get “The text you typed does not match the text in the image" In the summary, with the error message for your customvalidator on the next line. You also get the error message alongside the post button. If you make the error message an empty string, you get the same message followed by a blank line in the validationsummary, which looks lousy if you’re using bullets.
What I’d really like is the validationsummary not in play for the captcha verification … just to get the error message next to the post button. There’s no way to get at the standard “does not match” message. Is there workaround for what I want?
